Laura González

Laura González (Uruguay) is a screenwriter, director, and producer, and an alumna of Berlinale Talents and Filmworks (UK). Founder of La Uruguaya Films, she produced six acclaimed short films before producing her debut feature, MILONGA (2023), starring Paulina García. The multi-award-winning film received 7 nominations at the ACCU Awards (FIPRESCI - Uruguay), including Best Film and Best Director.
