Despite the usual workload, things are running suspiciously smoothly at the Rügen practice. Doctor Nora Kaminski even finds time to support her bipolar sister Franziska at the harbor café, though she warily observes her exuberant good mood. She also keeps an eye on her fiancé Max Jensen’s construction project. Nora meets Max’s future father-in-law, star architect Prof. Jensen, as well as Max’s confident project assistant Amelie. In the practice, her people skills are needed: The doctor without a title must convince widowed, stubborn taxidermist Gunnar Kruse, who suffers from a strange cough, to take his health seriously at his daughter Almut’s urging. To help her unyielding patient, Nora must first understand him.
